Salutations friends! My name is Gabriel Francis Caro, an Animator, Filmmaker & Story Artist from Los Angeles California. Now with 2 years of freelance experience in Animation under my belt! With 6 years of animation education, I can be a valuable addition to your crew!

 

Having graduated from Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in 2022, I  learned a variety of skills, like how to use software like ToonBoom, Maya, and the Adobe Suite. With additional experience in leadership and communication, having directed my own award winning short film, The Dark Frog Experiment, which released on YouTube in February. This aided my experience in 2D animation, having now worked on projects as a Traditional 2D Animator on the short film Nalb Noum, directed by Xzaviah J Stone Sr, and later for Christian Haynes on Zack In Time in 2023 for the same job role. In Fall 2023, I began taking 3D Character Animation Courses at Animation Mentor, which I am currently still enrolled. At the moment, my current class is Body Mechanics.
